Today we delivered over 100 Life Application Bibles that will be shared throughout the country. Young pastors throughout the villages will receive these Bibles to be used to deepen their commitment to our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. It is an important delivery.
Why are these Bibles so important? There is little discipleship training or discipleship material available in this country. Many of the church leaders get their education through friends, colleagues or radio preachers/teachers. It is amazing how much the traditions from these influences have shaped the doctrine here. Many times we see a relationship built on tradition rather than the Word of God.
These Bibles provide support for the pastor that desires to share what the Lord Says? Any "word" other than the Word becomes false truth. This false truth is splitting churches and moving believers away from the cross. It is paramount that leaders receive the Truth without compromised.
We see this same influence in the States today. Some "teachers" are leading others astray with teaching that reflects their own personal thoughts rather than the Word of the Living God. May we teach, preserve and demonstrate the Word. It is important today and for future generations.
